Charlotte Cardin – Kids
Atypical project if ever there was one, shot in Quebec in autumn with differences in temperature of 30° between morning and afternoon, in very close collaboration with Kristof Brandl. It narrates the story of a couple of young parents, white trash, and their son's childhood, between abuse and nightmares, until the latter's adulthood ( as it is more of a short film than a clip). Inspired by the films of Tarkovsky, shot on analog film, in an abandoned house, with a crew non older than 25, this film was saluted by Ridley Scott at the 2018 Cannes YDA, and won a prize.
