Jean Paul Gaultier's iconic perfumes have a strong identity, and it is always a pleasure to reinvent them. For this project, the talented François Rousselet reinterprets the song of mermaids, courtesans and swooning sailors in a fantasy port. Mixing a slightly sixties aesthetic with a modern representation of genres, we stroll along the quays, meeting colorful characters. Here, the lighthouses are in CG, the matte paintings are inspired by the most beautiful Mediterranean islands, sublimating the images of Rousselet and LeSourd on camera.
